“In the beginning you have to make room for yoga in your daily life and give it the place it deserves. But after some time, yoga itself will pull you up by the hair and make you do it.”—Vanda Scaravelli

Our Classes
Gentle
This slow-paced class is design to revitalize and restore your body, relax your mind, increase energy, and reduce stress. For beginners or experienced students who want a slower paced, less strenuous class.
Hatha Yoga I
This class builds from the Intro class by incorporating new postures and increasingly challenging options. Alignment and form are developed through verbal and hands-on feedback. This class will help bridge beginners to mixed level and vinyasa classes.
Intro – Hatha
This class will focus on poses to stretch and strengthen the legs, back and shoulders. Emphasis is given to proper alignment of the poses and breathing. This class is perfect for people who have never practiced yoga or practiced very little and would like to start at the beginning. New to yoga students should participate in a minimum of 4 (we suggest 8!) introductory classes before moving on to the next level.
Lunar Yoga
This Vinyasa class is based on Moon Salutations – a graceful, flowing sequence of postures suitable for all levels of practitioners. Particularly tuned to the rhythms and needs of women, this deeply grounding practice opens the heart and hips and creates space for peace within the body, breath, and mind. A great complement and/or alternative to regular Vinyasa classes (based on Sun Salutations), Lunar Yoga puts considerably less stress on the wrists and shoulders – two commonly injured areas. This class can be either restorative or extremely challenging, depending on the choices each practitioner makes; a full range of options are given for each sequence. Discover the grace and strength that lie within you.
Mixed Level - Intro to Power Yoga
This class is suitable for those who are already comfortable in a Mixed Level Vinyasa Class and who desire introduction to and instruction on yoga’s more advanced postures.
Mixed Level – Vinyasa Flow
Release the day’s tensions with Vinyasa yoga. A vinyasa is essentially a series of flowing, connected poses, incorporating breath and movement and cultivating heat, strength, flexibility, and balance. Standing poses increase strength and stamina, bending and twisting poses improve flexibility, balancing poses create focus. Vinyasa yoga teaches us to cultivate an awareness that links each action to the next—on the mat and in our lives. Fluid music creates a serene atmosphere in which to integrate mind, body and spirit. This class is open to all students except beginners. Those new to yoga must take a minimum of 4 introductory classes (8 are recommended) prior to participating in a mixed level class.
Power Yoga
A vigorous, fast-moving approach to Vinyasa yoga. This class is suitable for those who are already comfortable in a mixed levels Vinyasa class and will appeal to those who are physically fit and have a good understanding of the poses.
Private Classes
An ideal way to learn the basics, deepen an existing practice or address specific needs or physical limitations. It is also a fun and intimate way to practice yoga on your own or with your friends! Please talk to us about how we can customize a class for you or your group.
Saturday Morning Yoga
Start your weekend with this playful, heart-centered class. Uplifting themes and intentions will cultivate positive qualities of Mind and Heart. Explore the stable foundation and expressive elements in each pose, as well as the attitudinal energy that infuses each action and breath throughout your practice. This is a Mixed Level class with modifications offered to those newer to yoga.
Slow Flow - Vinyasa
Coordinate breath and movement through the practice of Sun Salutations and other flowing postures. This class is suitable for those who enjoy Vinyasa flow but would prefer moving at a more relaxing pace.
Sunrise Flow Yoga
A gentle Vinyasa flow class practiced in a heated (but not too hot!) room. You will leave the class feeling relaxed yet energized, and able to start the day with a well-grounded center, clarity and stillness of mind. A great way to start the day!
Yin Yoga
A yoga that gently encourages increasing the flexibility of the connective tissues, specifically of the hips, pelvis, and lower spine, with a quiet, meditative practice. Yin Yoga consists of long holds, from three to five minutes or more, so it can be challenging despite the slowness of the practice. Please be aware that this is not a restorative class, but is suitable for almost all levels of student and is a wonderful complement to the more athletic styles of yoga and fitness endeavors.
Yoga Core Fusion
A fun, invigorating vinyasa flow class which emphasizes safely strengthening the abdominal and back muscles, improving flexibility of the spine, hamstrings and hip flexors, and correcting muscle imbalances that can lead to pain and injury. This class will strengthen your core, rejuvenate your mind and spirit and reduce stress with a deep relaxation at the conclusion.
